About me
My name is Arantxa Higueros. I was born in Guatemala, but I often feel like I don't belong anywhere in particular. Sincerely it's easier for me to talk about what I love to do than who I am. If I had to sum it up in two words, they would be: friend and loving. I believe my identity lies in giving myself to others, which is why I can feel at home anywhere.
Sperare is my most intimate project, a window into my soul and how I see the world. Although I studied audiovisual communication, my love for photography began when I was 14. I have waited all this time to capture, through photographs and videos, those special moments in your life. For me, it's not just an event; it's the day you allow me to be part of your story, immortalizing every detail.
Sperare is a word derived from Latin, meaning to have hope or "the good wait." It reminds me that there is always something better ahead. My wish is that when you look at your photos, you feel nostalgia and joy for the moments lived, but also hope and excitement for what's to come.
